What is in the AS Colour men's range?
The grid holds 49 styles, and the quickest way to find the right one is by garment type. Our AS Colour men's t-shirts cover the Staple, Classic, Faded, Ringer, Stripe and organic cotton tees. For uniforms there are men's shirts and polos, from the Chad Polo to Oxford and denim wash shirts. When the weather turns you can move to men's hoodies and sweatshirts or AS Colour jackets, and for the warmer months there are men's pants and shorts and singlets and tanks.
How do you choose between the main styles?
Gsm is grams per square metre, so a higher number means a heavier fabric. The table sets out a few of the styles we sampled, using the figures on their product pages.
| Style | Fabric | Sizes |
| AS Colour Mens Staple Organic Tee | 180 gsm, 24-singles 100% combed organic cotton | XS to 3XL |
| AS Colour Classic Tee | 220 gsm, 22-singles combed cotton, relaxed fit | S to 5XL |
| AS Colour Chad Polo | 220 gsm, 20-singles combed cotton, 3 button placket | S to 3XL |
| AS Colour Mens Work Polo | 185 gsm recycled polyester, moisture wicking, quick drying | S to 3XL |
| AS Colour Mens Supply Hood | 290 gsm anti-pill fleece, 80% cotton 20% polyester | XS to 3XL |
| AS Colour Mens Stadium Shorts | 320 gsm French terry, 75% cotton 25% polyester | S to 2XL |
| AS Colour Mens Coach Jacket | Lightweight nylon, snap closure, drawcord hem | S to 2XL |
For most event and team orders we'd start with the Classic Tee, because the 220 gsm cotton holds a print well, it comes in a very long colour list and the size run reaches 5XL, which saves awkward conversations about the biggest size. If the shirt is a uniform that has to look neat behind a counter or on a site visit, the Chad Polo is the better pick. The Work Polo is the one to consider for outdoor crews, since its product page lists it as moisture wicking, quick drying and rated UPF 50+.
What is the best way to put a logo on AS Colour menswear?
Which method works depends on the garment and the artwork, and the artwork team confirms the final choice on your proof.
- Screen printing is what we'd recommend for tees and hoodies in volume, because it is bold and hard-wearing and the cost per garment falls as the numbers rise. Each colour needs its own setup, so a one or two colour logo gets the best result.
- DTF transfers suit full-colour artwork, gradients and smaller runs, though the feel and wash life differ from screen print, so ask to compare before you commit.
- Embroidery is the usual choice for polos, jackets and fleece, where a stitched chest logo reads as a uniform and lasts as long as the garment. Fine detail and very small text don't stitch well, and the logo has to be digitised into a stitch file first.
Every product page offers one, two or three decoration positions, so a left chest logo with a back print for the team name is easy to add. The logo is sized to the garment, which means a 5XL tee and an XS tee can carry different print sizes, and the proof shows each one.
How does ordering work?
There's no minimum, so a team of eight can order as easily as a team of eighty, and you can mix sizes, colours and styles in one order while the whole lot counts toward the quantity price. You'll receive a free digital proof showing the logo size, position and method, nothing is made until you approve it, and we then decorate the garments in house. Some orders can be ready the same day, and your quote confirms the timing for yours.
Who orders branded AS Colour menswear?
- For staff uniforms, a polo or a hoodie is worn every working day, so the logo is seen by customers, suppliers and the public for the life of the garment. If you run a franchise or several sites that reorder each season, ask us about an online store and uniform program so each site can order for itself.
- For events and clubs, a printed tee in volume is the most common event merchandise we make, and a sports club can print a jersey-style top or shorts for the same season. The logo then turns up at training, at the pub afterwards and on the weekend.
- For onboarding, a tee, a hoodie and a AS Colour cap or bucket hat bundled in a kitting order means new starters feel part of the team from the first morning. In winter a branded beanie goes well with a hoodie or jacket.
The same styles are cut for other buyers too, so see our AS Colour women's clothing for a matching team set, or the kids range for a family day. Please make sure you own, or have permission to use, any club crest or licensed logo you send us.
