In our safety footwear range, we have three major type of outsole to choose from TPU (Thermoplastic Urethane), RUB(Rubber) & NIT(Nitrile).
TPU Boot Outsoles are lightweight with Resistance to temperatures up to 130°C (266°F). TPU work boots are highly resistant to most oils and chemicals and have high tolerance to abrasion, cracking, splitting and cuts/tears. TPU safety work boots does not offer high heat resistance as much as NIT & RUB boots do.
NIT Boot Outsoles not only has premium resistance to oil, mild acids, alkalis’, animal fats, chemicals etc. but also superior resistance to abrasion, splitting and cracking. Nitrile boots reduce excess static electricity and has extreme heat tolerance of up to 300°C, and are cut, slip and puncture resistant. NIT Boots are not quite as flexible and strong as TPU.
RUB Boots are exceptionally sturdy, due to the process used to make them and has extreme heat tolerance of up to 300°C. Rubber boots also offers cut, slip and puncture resistant. RUB boots are little heavier than alternatives such as TPU and Nitrile.
