Which promotional pouch should you choose?
Choose by the job the pouch does. One that clips onto a gym bag, one worn across the body and one that just keeps a passport dry are different products, and the range covers all three.
| Style | Product | What the product page says | Suits |
| Clip-on | Byron Clip & Go Small Pouch 0.2L | Water-repellent recycled polyester, zipped compartment, internal sleeve pocket, front pocket, built-in carabiner clip. Black, brick, grey, lilac, navy or oatmeal | Keys, cards and earbuds on a backpack, belt or gym bag |
| Crossbody phone pouch | Ross Phone Pouch | Recycled polyester, 100 x 190 x 45 mm, 75 g, front zip pocket, strap adjustable to 140 cm, customisable front branding area. Charcoal, grey or navy | Conferences, festivals and everyday carry |
| Travel | Ross Smart Travel Pouch | Recycled polyester, 13 x 22 cm, 80 g, several pockets for a phone, power bank, passport, cards and cables, strap adjustable to 130 cm. Charcoal, grey or navy | Travel programs and incentive trips |
| Reusable zip-lock | Julienne Reusable Pouch | Vinyl, 220 x 190 mm, zip-lock closure, listed for food, passports, phones and tech accessories | Large handouts and giveaways |
For most buyers we'd pick the Ross Phone Pouch. People take their phone everywhere, and because it hangs on a strap the logo stays in view all day instead of disappearing into a bag. The Julienne is the one for volume, since it's a flat vinyl pouch with quantity pricing on its product page and the quote confirms your branded price. If you want a larger carry-all, our waist and bum bags take over where pouches run out of room.
How are promotional pouches decorated?
On a flat fabric pouch, screen printing is the usual choice for a one or two colour logo, because it is hard-wearing and keeps the cost down as quantities rise. If your logo has a gradient, a photo or lots of colours, DTF transfers give you full colour on the same fabric. Embroidery can suit some pouches, but the stitch area is small, so only a simple logo works. The artwork team confirms the method for each pouch on your proof.
The logo is sized to the branding area of the pouch you choose, and the smaller the pouch, the simpler the logo should be. The Julienne and other priced products show 1, 2 or 3 position options on the product page. Dark recycled polyester colours such as navy and charcoal need a light logo version, which we'll flag on the proof.
Ordering branded pouches
There's no minimum, so a team of twelve can order the same style as an event of twelve hundred, although the price per pouch drops noticeably from around 10 units because each order carries a one-off setup for the logo. You'll get a free digital proof showing the colour, logo size and position, and nothing is made until you approve it. Some stocked orders can be ready the same day, and your quote confirms timing and freight.
Who buys promotional pouches?
- Conference and expo organisers give out a crossbody phone pouch with the delegate pack, so the logo is worn through every session and out the door. See our conference bags for what to pair it with.
- Travel and incentive programs put a travel pouch in the welcome kit, where it gets used again on the return trip. Kitting can assemble it with the rest of the pack.
- Gyms, clubs and schools clip a small pouch to bags that go out the door every day, which means the logo is seen at training, on the bus and in the car park.
