Which promotional Christmas gifts suit clients, and which suit staff?
The answer depends on who opens the box, so we sort the range into four kinds of gift and suggest you pick by recipient before you pick by product.
| Gift type | Examples in the range | Best for | Usual way to brand it |
| Boxed gift sets | The Perfect Pairing, The Knock Off for Christmas Pack, The Glow & Graze | Top clients and partners | Screen print or digital label on the box, sleeve or card |
| Kitchen and entertaining gifts | Snomma bamboo cutting board, Retro Cooler Box | Clients and staff who will use them all summer | Laser engraving on timber and bamboo, print on the cooler |
| Tree ornaments | Wooden star, heart and tree ornaments, LED ornaments | Large mailouts, reception desks, team gifts | Engraving or print, kept to a simple logo or short message |
| Stockings | Nonwoven 80 gsm Christmas stocking | Team and office giveaways | Print on the white side |
Boxed Christmas gift sets and hampers
The five Christmas Edition sets arrive packed and ready to give, which is why we point most client gifting this way. The Perfect Pairing, for example, holds a bottle of red or white wine, handmade Christmas mint rocks in a glass jar and gingerbread minis, all in a white magnetic-close box. If you'd like to compare more boxed options, browse our corporate gift sets, the food and gourmet gift boxes or the wine hamper sets.
Christmas gifts that get used after December
Chocolate is gone by New Year, but a gift that stays in the kitchen keeps your logo in front of the client for years. The Snomma board is bamboo, shaped like a snowman and measures 170 x 265 x 10 mm. The Retro Cooler Box holds 17 litres, fits six wine bottles standing up and has a front decoration area of 200 x 250 mm, so a logo reads clearly on it. For team gifts at a lower outlay, see our employee gifts, and for senior clients our executive gifts.
Ornaments and stockings for teams and mailouts
The wooden star, heart and tree ornaments each come with a ribbon to hang on the tree, and the LED ornaments add six lights and a CR2032 button battery. Light-up items carry battery rules of their own, so tell us who they are going to and we'll check what applies. The nonwoven Christmas stocking is 80 gsm (grams per square metre) and comes in red and white, with four crayons in the polybag. These are light, which suits a big mailout or a table of giveaways, and our wider Christmas merchandise pairs well with them.
How do you put a logo on a Christmas gift?
The method follows the material, and the artwork team confirms it on your free proof before anything is made.
- Laser engraving suits bamboo, timber and metal. It burns a permanent single-tone mark with no ink, so it is our usual pick for the cutting board and wooden ornaments.
- Screen print gives solid colour on gift boxes and packaging, with a setup for each colour, so a one or two colour logo is the economical choice. Read more on our screen printing service.
- Digital label and digital print handle full colour, which helps when you want a festive design plus your logo on a sleeve or card.
For a client hamper, we'd brand the sleeve or card and leave the box festive, because a logo that is too loud makes a gift look like an advertisement. Each product page shows one, two or three decoration positions, so you can put your logo on one and a seasonal message on another.
Ordering Christmas gifts
There's no minimum order, so a team of twelve is as welcome as a client list of five hundred, though the price per gift drops noticeably once you pass about ten. You'll see a free digital proof before production starts and nothing is made until you approve it. Christmas production slots fill from September, and if you'd like gifts packed with a card or a tote, our kitting service can assemble them together.
Who buys branded Christmas gifts?
Marketing and account teams send hampers to key clients so that the gift lands on a desk in December, and a boxed set gets opened in front of colleagues, which spreads the brand further than a card does. HR teams give every staff member the same end-of-year gift, and a cooler or cutting board they take home reaches their family as well. Property managers, clinics and professional firms hand out ornaments or stockings across the counter to every visitor in the last fortnight before Christmas.
