Which AS Colour bag suits your job?
AS Colour is a blank-apparel brand known for plain, minimal shapes, which is why its bags take a logo so well: there is no busy pattern to compete with it. Our range falls into five groups, and the choice mostly comes down to what the bag has to carry and how long you want it used.
| Type | Bags in the range | Fabric and size (from the product pages) | Best for |
| Cotton totes | Parcel Tote, Shoulder Tote, Pocket Tote Bag, Denim Carrie Tote | 320 gsm 100% cotton canvas for the Parcel, Shoulder and Pocket totes; 350 gsm 100% cotton for the Denim Carrie. Sizes from 35.5 x 39 cm to 50 x 40 cm. | Events, retail, everyday carry |
| Backpacks and messenger | Recycled Travel Backpack, Recycled Strap Backpack, Recycled Messenger Bag | 100% recycled polyester. The Travel Backpack is 360 gsm and 21 litres with a padded laptop sleeve; the Messenger is 360 gsm and 13 litres. | Staff, onboarding, client gifts |
| Duffel and transit | Area Pattern Duffel Bag, Recycled Transit Bag | The Duffel is 350 gsm recycled polyester with a PVC coating, 53 litres, 30 x 59 cm. | Teams, sport, travel |
| Waist and toiletry | Waist Bag, Recycled Double Waist Bag, Recycled Toiletry Bag | The Toiletry Bag is 100% recycled polyester at 210 gsm, 4 litres, with a YKK zip. The Waist Bag holds 2.5 litres. | Conferences, gift packs |
| Foldable grocery | Grocery Bag | 80 gsm 100% recycled polyester rip-stop, 35 x 52 cm, with a snap and elastic cord to fold it away. | Giveaways, shopping |
If the bag will be handed out in the hundreds, a canvas tote is the practical pick: it holds a full day of conference material and gets reused for shopping. Where you want the bag kept for years, a backpack with a laptop sleeve is the one people carry to work. If your buyers want a lower-cost option from a different brand, our printed tote bags and calico bags cover that, and our branded backpacks include other brands.
Colours are limited: most bags come in black, with cream, grey marle, coal, denim and indigo on some of the totes. Check the colour options on each product page before you commit to artwork.
How can you brand AS Colour bags?
The right method depends on fabric and artwork, and our artwork team confirms the final choice on your proof. These are the ones we usually recommend:
- Screen printing is our usual pick for cotton canvas totes. The ink sits crisply on the weave and the cost per bag falls as quantities rise. It needs a setup for each colour, so one or two colours works best. See screen printing.
- Embroidery suits backpacks, messenger bags and the heavier recycled polyester styles, where a stitched logo looks like part of the bag. Fine detail and very small text don't stitch well, and your logo is digitised into a stitch file first.
- DTF or heat transfer carries full-colour artwork, gradients and photos at small quantities. See DTF transfers.
The Pocket Tote Bag's product page lists it as suited to screen printing, DTG and embroidery. For most corporate jobs on a canvas tote, we'd choose a one-colour screen print on the front, because it's the longest-lasting and best-value option for a simple logo. Send vector artwork (AI, EPS, SVG or vector PDF) where you can, and a 300 dpi PNG or JPG is fine for full-colour methods.
Ordering AS Colour bags
There's no minimum order, so a team of ten can order a set of backpacks as easily as an event can order a few hundred totes. Each order has a one-off setup for the logo, which is why the price per bag drops noticeably from around 10 units. Many of these bags show quantity pricing on their product page, and your quote confirms the branded price. You'll get a free digital proof showing the bag, colour, logo size and position, and nothing goes into production until you approve it. We decorate stocked bags in house, and your quote confirms timing. Freight is quoted separately.
Who buys branded AS Colour bags?
Conference and expo organisers give out canvas totes because the bag carries everything else from the event, so the logo moves around the venue all day and is often reused for months. HR teams build onboarding packs around a recycled polyester backpack or messenger bag, which new starters use for the commute, and our kitting service packs them with the rest of the kit. For client thank-yous, a toiletry bag or duffel suits business travellers, and it sits in a bag cupboard rather than a bin.
If you're matching merchandise, many buyers add AS Colour caps and hats or AS Colour accessories to the same order. Laptop-carrying staff may also want a look at our laptop bags, and teams that travel often need duffle bags.
