What are promotional bundles and how do you choose one?
A bundle puts several branded items into one order, so one logo, one proof and one delivery cover the lot. The six packs in the grid fall into two types. Team packs, such as the Barista and Painter packs, are a set of garments for a group. Kit packs, such as the Onboarding Pack and Golf Pack, are one set of items for one person. Check the item counts below before you choose.
| Pack | What is in it | Specifications on the product page | Suits |
| Barista 12 Pack | 8 tees, 2 aprons, 2 surf caps | Tee: 100% cotton, 180gsm. Apron: cotton blend, 90 cm long. Cap: 100% recycled nylon, snapback | Small cafés and hospitality teams |
| Barista 25 Pack | 15 tees, 5 aprons, 5 surf caps | Same items as the 12 Pack | Larger cafés and multi-venue groups |
| Painter 12 Pack | 10 tees, 2 Clipper hoodies | Tee: 100% cotton, 180gsm. Hoodie: 80% cotton, 20% polyester fleece, 320gsm | Trades crews and team merch drops |
| Tradie Pack | 4 shirts, 2 vests | Shirt: cotton twill, 170gsm. Vest: softshell with bonded fleece backing. Yellow and navy | Worksite and outdoor teams |
| Onboarding Pack | Notebook, stylus pen, 500 ml vacuum bottle, canvas tote | Bottle: double-walled stainless steel. Tote: black canvas, 280gsm, 25 x 25 cm print area | New starters and welcome kits |
| Golf Pack | Golf umbrella, cap, microfibre towel, tee and marker set | Umbrella: fibreglass frame. Cap: brushed cotton, 6 panel. Set: 8 tees of 53 mm and 2 markers | Golf days and client gifts |
If none of these matches your team, Custom Gear builds custom packs through its kitting service: you choose the items, we source, decorate and pack them.
Which packs suit hospitality and trades teams?
The Barista packs cover a café uniform in one order. They pair well with a wider range of hospitality clothing, and the apron has its own page if you need more of them: see our custom aprons. The Painter 12 Pack mixes ten tees with two heavyweight hoodies. If your site rules require high-visibility clothing, the Tradie Pack is not the answer: tell the team what the gear is for and look at high-visibility and reflective clothing, where compliance with the relevant standard can be confirmed.
What is the best way to brand a bundle?
Each item in a pack takes the decoration that suits its material. The usual choices at Custom Gear are:
- Tees: screen printing for a team order. It is durable and the cost per tee falls as quantity rises. For a full-colour logo or a small run, DTF transfers keep the detail.
- Caps, hoodies and aprons: embroidery. It lasts as long as the garment and reads as a uniform rather than a giveaway. Embroidery needs your logo digitised into a stitch file, which is a one-off setup shown in the quote.
- Stainless bottles: laser engraving, which is permanent and uses no ink. Pens usually take pad print, and canvas totes take screen print.
For most team packs, screen print the tees and embroider the caps. The product pages for the Barista and Painter packs offer your logo in one, two or three positions, and a free digital proof shows the method, position and logo size before anything is produced. The artwork team confirms the final method on that proof.
How do you order a bundle?
There is no minimum order. Each order has a one-off setup for the logo, so the price per item drops noticeably from around 10 units. Quotes show quantity breaks, decoration and setup together, and the quote confirms the branded price. Setup is included in the unit price unless the quote says otherwise, and freight is quoted separately. Colours of the same item can be mixed, and sizes can be combined in one order, so every person gets the right fit.
Some stocked orders can be ready the same day, and the quote confirms timing. Items made to order usually take 1 to 3 weeks by air after artwork and sample approval, or up to about 6 weeks by sea for bulky items. A longer lead time lowers the unit price. Rush production is available on most products and costs more.
Who buys promotional bundles?
- New starter programs. The Onboarding Pack gives each recruit a bottle, notebook, pen and tote on day one. The tote and bottle get used daily, so the logo is seen for months. For more welcome gift ideas, see new employee gift boxes.
- Golf days. The Golf Pack puts the logo on an umbrella, a cap and a towel that players use all round. Add the rest of the day with corporate golf day products or browse golf merchandise.
- Cafés and trades businesses. A uniform pack means the whole team is branded on every shift, and customers see a consistent look.
Multi-site groups such as franchises and real estate networks that reorder the same merch can also ask about an online store or uniform program. For gifts beyond packs, see corporate gifts, and for stand giveaways see event merchandise. Printed tote bags make a good add-on to any kit.
